       TerraWorld - ISI: Geospatial data integration – contrived novel geospatial queries and proposed optimal algorithms using satellite images and vector data (USGS, TIGER, NAVTEQ shape files, Google, MS) (http://infolab.usc.edu/OSR/)

       RTDM - CiSoft (USC/Chevron): Real-time data management of sensor data streams for a smart oil field – participated in the design of an OLAP approach to scientific data analysis of Chevron datasets (MS .NET)

       AIMS - IMSC: Management of Immersidata – managed the design and implementation of AIDA, a data analysis tool for the data streams of immersive environments to study the user’s behavior (Java 3D and ORACLE)

       SNDB - InfoLab: Sensor network databases – co-managed the design and implementation of a sensor network database system for remote environment monitoring (Berkeley Motes)
